I've been using these gloves for two years. The quality of fit is not matched by any other glove money can buy.

If you're doing work that puts a lot of wear on gloves, such as hauling firewood, go buy cheap leather gloves.

However, if you're going to be doing work where you actually have to use your fingers, or you find yourself taking gloves off every five minutes to do mundane tasks, these are the gloves to get. I use them outdoors everyday at work, and they work great for any activity where you need good grip, and maximum dexterity, such as shooting.

For those reviews that complain about them not being waterproof, that's an advantage. These gloves breathe much better than any waterproof glove, allowing you to keep them on when you're using them to work in the 100+ degree weather. They also provide excellent grip and fit while soaked. I've used them dry down to 25 degrees. If you're looking for a glove to get wet in the winter, go buy ski gloves.

Also, although it's not suggest by the manufacturer, I've machine washed and tumble dried these gloves quite often, and have never had any ill effects.

Cannot go wrong with Mechanix Wear gloves. I used to buy the ones with the wrist straps, but not anymore. The Fast Fit gloves slide right onto your hands and no straps to deal with. Certainly a preferred method IMO.

These are great gloves for light to medium work. I live on a large wooded lot and Mother Nature, especially lately, has made sure that I have to clear a lot of brush and do a lot of chain sawing, and they are perfect for picking up branches, logs, etc. They are also perfect for changing the chain because they protect your hands and allow for great dexterity. I'm not sure what people are doing with them that wear them out, but mine show no signs of wearing through. I just bought two more pair - one to keep in my car and another for non-greasy work. I have gotten a lot of chain saw oil on the original pair and so reserve them for dirty work. Another plus is that they fit tightly enough that I can wear them inside my mittens when I snow blow. They keep my hands warmer and when I have to take the mittens off to do something, I'm not bare handed.

I was worried that the anti-glare properties would cause more drag and make it harder to swipe your finger across the screen, It is actually easier, but, I had no idea that it would affect the clarity of the objects on screen. Images are no longer as crisp as without the screen protector. This is the only problem I had. application wasn't too difficult, the directions were a bit inaccurate (They made no mention of 2 plastic pieces needing to be removed before application of the screen protector) but it wasn't too hard to figure out what to do. No pressure to do it completely right the first time either with two other protectors in the pack for such a low price. I just wish I had known that it would affect the picture before I bought it. But I guess I have to sacrifice something for protection.

This screen protector fits well, seems to be pretty durable, and helps with fingerprints. As with all "anti-fingerprint" protective films, it is a matte finish, so the screens "vibrancy" may suffer a little. It is a compromise, and one must choose between the fingerprints or the matte finish. Overall, I am very pleased with this screen protector.

Fits perfectly, good packaging and quality materials. Effectively hides finger grease and elimintes glare. Gives your screen a rosy look but it also reduces the sharpness of the screen.

This product has the same problem as any other screen protector: dust bubbles. No matter how much I prepare, dust bubbles are always there. After considerable trial and error, I developed a sure-fire method for fixing (not preventing) this.

Install straight per instructions and smooth out the big air bubbles before you remove the top protector sheet. Once you remove this, you will probably see bubbles with bits of dust in them. Here is the secret to banishing them:

Make sure that you have some clear packing tape ready. Cut off a square and a 3-4" piece. Wrap the long piece arround your index and middle fingers with the sticky side out. Attach the square piece to the corner of the screen protctor that is closest to the dust bubbles. Don't let it stick all the way down because you need to use it to lift the corner of the screen protector. Lift the corner of the screen protector and tap the dust with your sticky tape fingers to remove it. Gently lower the screen protector down while smoothing out the air bubbles. Do this carefully and slowly as you can beause you canintroduce even more dust if you are careless Also, make sure you do not touch the underside of the screen protector.

Repeat as necessary on all corners. It can be time consuming and frustrating but you will end up with a perfectly installed screen protector, free from bubbles.

The black coupler will break and you'll need to get that part replaced. It's easy to replace, but you have to find the part. I suggest buying a few of these parts if you already have this blender. If you are thinking about purchasing this blender, don't. It's not that powerful, parts are expensive, things tend to break easily...

I've had this blender for a few years and have been happy with it, but after washing it last time I accidentally reassembled it without the black rubber ring, and now the darn thing is stuck. Without the ring, the jar is not watertight, so the liquids you put in it flow right through it all over the countertop. Everyone in my house has tried to unscrew it, and I called Kitchenaid and they suggested soaking it in hot water--no dice. Now, I live in Los Angeles, and they do not have an authorized repair place in the city of LA. Does that not seem ridiculous? This is the second largest city in the US. There is one in Santa Monica, but this is a drive clear across town that takes me a couple of hours round trip. I even looked at replacing the jar element, but it adds up to nearly the cost of a new one. Then I went out and bought a new KitchenAid blender that I thought was the same one but it has a crappy plastic jug and the motor seems to strain when making milkshakes, so I'm bringing that back. So I'm warning my fellow blender users. Do not forget to put that black rubber ring in place. I am disappointed in KitchenAid, I thought they were a better brand than all of this seems to bear out.

After using this blender for over five years, I thought I should hop on here and give it a good review. I was surprised to see so many people gave it 3 stars or less. I didn't have time to read through and see what the complaints are about, so I can't adress any of them directly, but I can tell you that after 5 years of use, this blender still works great.

In it's first years of life, we mainly used it to mix up smoothies or ice cream shakes. You'll have to pause mid mixing and scrape down the sides if you're mixing ice cream, but I've never really known a blender that didn't require that.

Now, that I have an infant in the houe, I use this blender to make his purees. Again, it works fabulously. It will puree my raisin, apple, squash bake with little effort. I mix for about 60 seconds, scrape down the sides, and mix another 30 seconds. Then baby's food is ready to eat, freeze, and store.

We've also used the blender to make my dad's crepe recipe (not sure why he always mixed it in a blender, but he did). It works well for my butter chicken sauce too. I really can't imagine what the complaints are about.

It is easy to clean and assemble. The cord stores well underneath the machine. We love it, Kitchen Aide always delivers great products, and we are super glad this was one of our wedding gifts.
